Intel joins Green Future Impact program to fill 300-megawatt program capacity
Intel recently joined the 17 other businesses and municipalities who have committed to purchase clean power through our Green Future Impact program, prompting the development of a new 138-megawatt solar facility in Wasco County, Oregon. We will seek state commission support for similar projects in the near future.

Keeping the City of Beaverton safe, 24/7
We collaborated with the City of Beaverton on a microgrid composed of solar, battery storage and a backup generator that is connected with PGE’s grid to house the Beaverton Police Department and Emergency Management program. The building is designed to maintain power, even if there are outages in the immediate vicinity, due to its connection with the PGE-supported microgrid that enables electricity to be generated onsite.
